Remember a time when people used to drop off casseroles or cookies when someone moved into their neighborhood?

Ever since we moved, it has been my little project to get to know our neighbors through flower deliveries. Maybe it's the pandemic and you kind of have to put yourself out there to find community. Maybe it's the fact that having a kid is a good icebreaker. Or, maybe it's because my dear friend made 54 bananas worth of banana bread for her neighbors (!!!). Whatever the reason, it's been a pretty sweet way to connect with people.

​So, here are my top 3 most favorite flower deliveries of 2020! 

Soft Vintage Flowers - Church Anniversary

For our church's 5 year anniversary, this arrangement had a soft fall pink and purple palette using cosmos, hydrangea, astrantia, freesia, seeded eucalyptus, sedum and some grass to create this antique look. 

Ombre Fall Flowers - Dinner Party

This color palette was inspired by the ombre peachy-red hydrangea from my neighbor's yard! Using almost everything from my garden, I included burgundy foliage from peonies, sedum, astrantia, quicksand roses, a bright pink rose to draw out the pink tones from the other flowers.

Summer Farm Fresh Flowers - Mom Friend

It's a pretty signature mom thing when you make mom friends at the park you always take your kid to, and this was who that was for! To create this local, seasonal, and bright arrangement, I picked these flowers from Land's Sake Farm, which included cone flowers, snapdragons, sweet William, amaranth and lavender.
